Adult Fellowship brings members together for worship, learning, friendship, outreach, and practical support in the life of the church. We need volunteers who can help organise gatherings, strengthen fellowship, and support outreach so that this ministry can continue to encourage and connect our congregation.
The choir enriches the worship of St. Michael’s through hymns, anthems, carol services, Evensong, and special liturgical celebrations throughout the year. We need volunteers who can lend their voices, commitment, and love of sacred music to help sustain and strengthen the beauty of our worship.
Helping Hands serves some of the most vulnerable members of the community through daily meals, practical care, companionship, and seasonal support. We especially need volunteers who can help with the preparation and distribution of meals, so that this vital ministry of compassion can continue faithfully.
The Medical Clinic is a long-standing outreach ministry that offers much-needed care to people in the surrounding neighbourhoods. Supported by volunteer doctors, pharmacists, and coordinators, it reflects the church’s commitment to healing, dignity, and compassionate service, and we need committed volunteers to help sustain this ministry of care for those who depend on it.
Mothers’ Union is a ministry of fellowship, prayer, and service, bringing people together to support families, respond to community needs, and strengthen the life of the church. Through practical initiatives, special events, and ongoing care, volunteers help extend hospitality, support, and practical service within the church and beyond.
The Servers Guild supports worship with reverence, care, and quiet dedication. From regular Sunday services to the great festivals of the Church, volunteers help create an ordered and prayerful liturgy and uphold the beauty and dignity of worship close to the altar.
Our Sunday School serves children in Sinhala, Tamil, and English, offering Christian learning, worship, and fellowship for 49 students with the support of 12 teachers. Alongside regular teaching, the ministry includes parent meetings, teacher formation, children’s events, Bible activities, and seasonal celebrations throughout the year.
Youth Fellowship is a lively and growing part of parish life, bringing young people together through worship, fellowship, service, and shared activities. We need volunteers who can guide, encourage, and support young people as they build friendships, grow in faith, and take an active part in the life of St. Michael’s.
